Telecom Field Engineer Unified Communication & Networks

As a Telecom Field Engineer, you’ll be part of a great, dynamic team in a constantly evolving field.

Your tasks

  • You will configure, set up and/or install unified communications systems (on site or in the cloud).
  • Beforehand, you carefully read and understand the customer’s specifications.
  • You teach users how to use the installed equipment.
  • You may also be responsible for carrying out technical studies for projects, drafting technical notices, drawing up tenders and invoices,
  • You look for and find technical solutions either remotely or on the customer’s premises.
  • You will also be on call to provide customers with a 24-hour service.

Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications (or electronics and industrial computing).
  • You’re passionate about the world of
  • You are willing to learn constantly and are open to new technologies.
  • You are structured and able to analyse a situation.
  • You have a driving
  • You are fluent in French and have a good command of Dutch.
  • You are able to work independently
  • Experience of Avaya (AURA) products would be a strong asset.
  • You have the following technical IT skills:
    • IT Infrastructure
    • Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
    • Firewalls (Fortinet, Draytek, etc.), Routers, Switches
    • VM Ware
  • Your general technical knowledge :
    • Use of ticketing tools
    • Knowledge of electricity and electronics
