Business Development Manager

Are you a salesperson at heart and do you enjoy winning new customers? Do you enjoy maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers? Are you interested in anything technical and want to learn more? Are you dynamic, well organised and always ready to help your customers? If, finally, you also pay sufficient attention to the administration that results from your contacts with customers, then you could be our new Business Development Manager, in our Energy business unit.

Your tasks

  • You will achieve annual sales as defined in the strategy
  • You will take part in preparing estimates based on studies and calculations, always with the help and approval of technical experts.
  • You negotiate offers in line with strategic objectives.
  • You will maintain a portfolio of customers (mainly in Belgium and Germany)
  • You will take part in the FAT (factory acceptance test) in our suppliers‘ workshops alongside our customers.
  • You will develop an internal network of product managers, engineers and project managers.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and a keen interest in technology (batteries, chargers, UPS, low-voltage switchboards, etc.).
  • You’ve earned your spurs in the commercial field with 10 years’ commercial
  • You can work independently on the basis of your own planning and organisation of activities.
  • You are very involved and follow up every call from (potential) customers.
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch (spoken and written)
